2021: Pitched a season-high 2.2 innings at Hawai’i (4/24)… Posted a season-high two strikeouts at Hawai’i, vs. CSUN (5/9) and Cal Poly (5/22).

CENTRAL CATHOLIC HS ’20: The school’s baseball team won San Diego City Conference/Western League championships in two of his three full seasons played… Pitched and played first base throughout his high school career… Posted a .355 batting average and 2.10 ERA as a freshman… Finished his sophomore season with a .296 avg., 1.41 ERA and 6-0 record… Followed that outstanding season by hitting .314 and finishing with a 3.15 ERA and 1-0 record in 2019…Held a 1.24 ERA when COVID forced a premature ending to his senior season… Three-time Honor Roll selection… Earned Scholar-Athlete distinction throughout his career… Named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Tami and Michael Ryder… His cousin, Gary Wayne, played for the Colorado Rockies… His father also played sports at a high level when he attended Texas… Competed for Trosky Baseball from 2018-19, won all five games pitches and was one of three players from California… Proudest personal accomplishment took place during his sophomore year of high school when he pitched a perfect game, and needed only 46 pitches through seven innings to accomplish this feat… Golfing, surfing and working out are his favorite hobbies… Play baseball as a professional, travel the world and owning his own company are the top three things on his bucket list… Chose UC Davis because it is a great athletic program with amazing academic programs.
