Swiped 24 bases in those two years... Slugged .659 in 2009, pounding out 11 extra-base knocks in 85 at-bats... Also named to Santa Rosa Press-Democrat All-Empire and San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro squads.

PERSONAL: Born in San Francisco, Calif.... Majoring in classical civilization... Parents are Otto Kobler & Barbara Benson... Best athlete he has faced was Max Stassi of Yuba City HS.
