2020: Appeared in three games out of the bullpen...Finished with a career-low 0.00 ERA over 3 2/3 innings...Struck out a career-high seven and walked just one batter while not allowing an earned run on the season...Held opponents to a .214 average...Pitched perfect outings of 1/3 and 2/3 of an inning against San Francisco (Feb. 18) and North Dakota State (Feb. 22)...Set single game career-highs for innings pitched (2 2/3) and strike outs (5) against Loyola Marymount (Mar. 1).

2019: Appeared in four games out of the bullpen for the Aggies… Made his Division I debut on Feb. 24 at Arizona State… Logged his first career strikeout at Sacramento State (Mar. 12)… Tossed a season-long inning of scoreless, hitless relief in the Aggies’ 7-0 shutout win over Pacific (Apr. 2)…Finished his junior campaign 0-1 over 2.1 innings of work. 

YUBA COLLEGE: Appeared in 16 games and struck out 26, and garnered a 4.21 ERA during his first year at Yuba College (2017)… Led the Golden State collegiate league in saves and earned all-league accolades for his efforts as a relief pitcher. 

WOODCREEK HS '17: A four-year varsity letter winner for Woodcreek HS, Smith helped his team to Sierra Foothill League wins during his freshman and sophomore seasons… Also a standout in the classroom, Smith maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.75 throughout his high school career.

PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif… Parents are Stephani and Greg Smith… Has an older brother, Josh… Career plans include becoming an accountant… Lists Raley Field as his favorite competition facility.
