2023: Played in all 11 games…Had 11 tackles (seven solo, four assisted)…Had one tackle for a loss for a total of four yards…Had one sack for a total of four yards…Recorded season high four tackles against Northern Arizona on October 28^th…Recorded tackle for a loss against Idaho State on November 11^th…Recorded sack against Idaho State.

2022: Appeared in six games… Registered five tackles… Totaled two tackles at Northern Colorado (Oct. 22)… Assisted on two tackles against Cal Poly (Oct. 29).

2021 FALL: Played in all 12 games along the defensive line… Registered 15 total tackles with five solo stops and 1.5 for a loss… Recorded one sack for a loss of two yards… Tallied two tackles and his sack against Causeway rival Sacramento State (11/20)… Assisted on a season-high three tackles against Northern Arizona (11/6).

2021 SPRING: On roster but did not play.

2019: Played all 12 games at nose tackle, starting 6 in a platoon with Jordan Franklin... Finished with 16 total tackles (7 solos, 9 assists), with 5.0 TFLs and a sack assist (at Southern Utah)... Tallied season-best 4 stops twice: 1-3-4 at North Dakota State (9/21), 3-1-4 at Portland State (11/9).

2018: Qualified for a redshirt by competing in four games or fewer, as permissible by the NCAA and its new policy... Competed in three games… Recorded his first career tackle as an Aggie at Stanford (9/15).

HAYWARD HS '18: All-Bay Area News Group, All-West Alameda County Conference-Shoreline and Defensive Player of the Year selection as a senior… Of his 79 tackles recorded throughout his senior season, 56 were solo and a team-high 32 were for a loss… Led his team in sacks (14.0), sacks per game (6.5), yards lost (61) and hurries (5)… Also forced one fumble and blocked one field goal… Averaged 7.9 tackles per game… Hayward advanced to the North County Section playoffs in each of his three years with the program… Earned San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro Football honors as a junior.
