Had 17 multi-hit games, including six in a span of seven games from May 4-13... Batted 16-for-30 (.533) with 16 RBIs in that span, part of a 12-game hitting streak... Hit 2-for-5 with 2 doubles vs. Cal Poly (5/11), then 4-for-5 with 2 doubles the next day... Finished that series with 3-for-5, 2-RBI game vs. Mustangs (5/13)... Season[apos]s lone homer came in 3-for-4 performance at Saint Mary[apos]s (4/17)... Had season-best 3 RBIs in 5-1 win over Pacific (4/7).

2006: Appeared in 20 games, starting 16... Batted 14-for-59 (.237) with 3 doubles... Had four multi-hit games, including back-to-back against Utah (2/19) and San Francisco (2/21)... Batted 3-for-8 with a double in home series with Cal Poly (5/12-14).

BUHACH COLONY HS [apos]05: Selected as Valley Oak League MVP as a senior... Added area and district MVP honors... Selected to all-state first team... Voted Offensive MVP of VOL in 2004... Led team to 55-8 combined record and back-to-back Sac-Joaquin Section titles in final two years.

PERSONAL: Born in Merced, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are John Jefferies and Suzanne Fagundes... Stepbrother, Chris Fagundes, recently graduated from UC Davis... Nephew of Blas Minor, who pitched for Arizona State and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
