2005: Multi-tasked as a spot starter, long reliever and stopper... Led staff with 22 appearances, making four starts... Went 2-2 with team-best 4 saves and 3.39 ERA... Fanned 41 batters against just 15 walks in 61.0 innings... Yielded just one run in 6.0 innings for no decision in first collegiate start at Sacramento State (2/13)... Season ERA bottomed out to 1.23 after firing 4.0 scoreless innings vs. Utah Valley State (3/11)... Lasted 3.2 shutout innings for first career save vs. UC Santa Barbara (4/10)... Had three more saves during May.

MERCED HS '03: Won first-team All-Central California Conference honors in each of his last two years, plus second-team distinction as a sophomore... Voted league MVP as a senior... Team won CCC titles all three years and captured Sac-Joaquin Section banner in 2002... Finished with career record of 27-9...
