CLAYTON VALLEY HS [apos]09: Earned All-Bay Valley Athletic League honors in 2007 and 2008, then All-Diablo Valley Athletic League distinction in 2009... Hit .348 with 23 runs, 27 RBIs and five homers in 26 games as a senior, helping Eagles to 24-3 record, a North Coast Section title and No. 24 state ranking... Also lettered three years in basketball, earning two 'Mr. Defense' nods... Played club ball for Delta Indians in Pittsburg, Calif. from 2006-09.
