SANTA CRUZ HS [apos]07: Captured All-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League honors for three straight years... Posted 8-3 record with 2.20 ERA and 75 strikeouts as a senior, adding All-Santa Cruz County distinction... Went 3-2 with 1.24 ERA as a junior, 5-2 with 2.50 ERA as a sophomore... Team won All-SCCAL titles all four of his years, advancing to Central Coast Section semifinal in 2005.
