Posted a 2.23 ERA and a 2-3 record in conference play with a pair of complete games in just over 40 innings... named second team All-Western States Conference - North Division .
UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO: Signed with the Toreros out of high school, but did not play, redshirting his true freshman season in 2011.
ROYAL HS [apos]10: Played his senior season for the Highlanders, finishing 1-0 on the mound with four saves in 14 innings pitched, posting a 1.31 ERA in eight total appearances as the closer... Helped the Highlanders to an appearance in the CIF Southern Section Division I semifinals with a 25-7 record as a senior... Spent his first three prep seasons at Newbury Park HS in Thousand Oaks, Calif., finishing 2-0 in 12 innings as a junior before being sidelined with an injury... Was 3-3 as a sophomore in 44 innings, earning a spot in the Ventura County and VIBL All-Star games.
