Credited with three straight relief wins vs. No. 3 Stanford (4/30) and No. 23 Long Beach State (5/3, 5/4) to earn the award... Fanned a season-best 8 batters in 4.1 innings against Utah (3/2), his longest outing of the season... Struck out 6 batters in only 3.1 innings at Nevada (3/12)... Went 12-0 with 0.72 ERA and school-record 146 strikeouts as a junior, claiming first-team Cal-Hi Sports All-State accloades... Also named Peninsula Athletic League Player of the Year in 2004...
