2021: Pitched a season-high 4.0 innings vs. UC Irvine (3/19)… Recorded a season-high five strikeouts in two-inning outing vs. UC Riverside (4/4)...Pitched 2/3 of an inning of scoreless relief against San Jose State (5/2). 

LAS LOMAS HS ’20: Played football and baseball throughout his high school career… Threw 40,1 innings and finished with a 1.91 ERA, 53 strikeouts and an opposing batting average of .163 as a sophomore… Led Las Lomas HS to a North Coast Section title as a junior; he finished with a 3.23 ERA over 30.1 IP, 36 Ks and a .165 opposing batting avg.… Struckout 12 over 4.2 innings during his COVID-shortened senior season.

PERSONAL: Oldest of two children, has a younger sister… Born in Ichinomia City, Aichi, Japan… Competed for the Concord-based Zoots Baseball Club in 2018 and ’19… Most people do not know he is bilingual and use to play the violin… Earning the opportunity to play college baseball is his proudest personal accomplishment… The Oakland A’s spring training facility (Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz.) is his favorite facility that he competed in… Career sports highlight took place when his Juniors Little League team advanced to the regionals, and when his junior year summer ball team finished 42-2… Inception is his favorite movie… Yu Darvish is his sports hero… Non-sports heroes are his parents… Working out is his favorite hobby… Playing baseball professionally, traveling to different countries and seeing the Northern Lights are the top three things on his bucket list… Chose UC Davis for its academic and athletic programs.
