WOODLAND HS ’20: Played on the school’s baseball and basketball teams… In addition to pitching, Walker played shortstop… Earned All-Metro Second Team honor as a utility player, and All-Golden Empire League Academic Team honors as a junior… Also played in the outfield throughout his senior season.

PERSONAL: Oldest of Ann and Keith’s two children… HIs father played football at UC Davis (Class of ’90); his cousin also played the sport at Pomona College… Chose UC Davis because it had the major he was looking for (enology and viticulture), the school was close to home and he created positive relationships with the coaches.
