2018: Competed in seven games… Caught his first touchdown as an Aggie, for 26 yards (both career highs) at Stanford (9/15).
2017: Played in 10 games... Finished fourth on the team with six touchdowns... Recorded five receptions for 43 yards, including three for 37 yards at Weber State (9/23)... Scored three touchdowns vs. Eastern Washington (10/7)... Also completed one pass that game for a gain of 24 yards... Connected with Keelan Doss for a touchdown at Northern Arizona (10/21).
2016: Saw action against Southern Oregon (9/10), Portland State (11/5) and Montana State (11/12)... Completed eight passes in 19 attempts for 100 yards and one touchdown against Portland State (11/5)... Finished with six rushes for a total of 10 yards and one touchdown.
2015: Played in seven games, earning starts in the final three... Threw for 971 yards, with bulk of yardage coming in back-to-back 300-yard efforts against Cal Poly (11/14; 311 yds, 2 TDs) and Sacramento State (11/21; 312 yds, 2 TDs)... Those were the first back-to-back 300-yard games since Greg Denham tossed five in a row in 2009... Did not throw an interception in either of those games and was picked just once in 131 attempts during the season... Found WR Alex Cannon for a 51-yard TD, barely two minutes into the Cal Poly game, answering the Mustangs' opening score in the first minute... Completed 65.6 pct. of his passes.
2014: Redshirted.
INDERKUM HS '14: Received All-CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section first team and All-Metro second team honors after leading Inderkum HS to a 10-3 record in 2013... Passed for 1,724 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior, including a long of 69 yards... Averaged 10.0 yards on 13 rushes... Completed 16 passes for 289 yards and a touchdown during playoff matchup against Manteca HS... Tossed three touchdown passes in three games... Enjoyed a standout junior season by throwing for 1,673 yards and 16 touchdowns... Threw just three interceptions in 164 attempts... Capped that season with 289 passing yards on 13 completions against Vista del Lago... Ran for 193 yards and six touchdowns in 2012... Received all-league honors as both a junior and senior... Also played golf for Inderkum HS and holds the school's nine-hole scoring record (34)...Earned a 4.0 GPA during 2013 fall semester.
PERSONAL: Born in Okinawa, Japan... Mother is Margrit Spencer... Wishes he could've seen the world before human existence... Title of autobiography would be "You know C.J.?".
