2020-21: Appeared in two tournaments for the Aggies, competing in both as an individual... Made her Division I debut at UC Davis' own Gunrock Invitational, finishing in a tie for 45th with an 11-over 227... Posted her first career collegiate round at par-or-better with a final-round 71 at the event... Also competed as an individual at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic, ending the tournament in 19th with a 54-hole total of 249... Finished the year with a 79.33 scoring average.
VALLEY CHRISTIAN HS '20
A four-year letter winner for the Warriors at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Calif... Helped her team to a top-three finish at the section championships in each of her four prep seasons — including a West Catholic Athletic League title and a second-place section finish at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch... Jun fired a 77 to finish in a tie for 18th at the section championships, earning a trip to the NorCal Regional Tournament, helping the team to a sixth-place finish and finishing in a tie for 33rd individually... A two-time WCAL first-team selection and four-time scholar-athlete, Jun also helped the Warriors to a sixth-place NorCal regional finish as a junior in 2018, but finished 10th individually with a round of 75 to qualify for the state tournament as an individual... She helped Valley Christian HS to a third-place section finish and a NorCal regional title as a sophomore in 2017, finishing sixth at the state tournament, and a third-place section finish as a freshman.
PERSONAL
Parents are Byung Sun Jun and Yoon Chi... Has two brothers, Aaron and Andrew... Her uncle, Ben, is a 1994 UC Davis graduate... Lists her favorite course as Pebble Beach... Lists cave exploring, travelling to Greece, and conquering her fear of bees/wasps & butterflies, as her bucket list items... Chose UC Davis because, "it's far yet close to home, the student environment is very nice, I loved all the team members when I met them, and I believe I can grow to be the best version of me while participating on the women's golf team throughout college"... Outside of her high school career, Jun was the 2019 San Francisco Junior Girls Champion and has been a part of the First Tee of Silicon Valley for six years... Also volunteered with, and was an officer on, the National Unification Advisory Council San Francisco Chapter.
