2016: Appeared in 30 games for the Aggies, making 29 starts at shortstop... Hit .235 on the year with three doubles, 13 runs scored, and eight RBI... Made his Division I debut in the season opener against Portland on Feb. 19, collecting his first career hits with a 2-for-4 day against the Pilots... Followed that up with a pair of hits and two RBI in the second game of the series against Portland... Finished with six multi-hit games, including three-hit performances against Utah Valley (Feb. 28) and Arizona State (March 11)... Also drove in a pair of runs on April 8 against Hawai'i... Walked three times against the Sun Devils in the series finale on March 13... Finished second on the team, and tied for sixth in the Big West, with 11 sacrifice hits, including three against South Dakota State on March 9... Sacrifice total also placed him No. 66 in the nation.
SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE First team All-Big 8 and All-Northern California as a sophomore... Hit .294 in 44 games for the Mustangs, scoring 39 runs and driving in 25 while collecting 11 extra-base hits... Led the team with 13 sacrifice hits and was a state Gold Glove winner, posting a .995 fielding percentage at shortstop... Hit .261 with 20 runs scored, a pair of doubles, and 22 RBI, in 46 games with the Mustangs as a freshman, helping his team to a 35-11 overall record and a 14-7 conference mark.
BEAR CREEK HS '13 Finished his senior season batting .410 with three doubles, five triples, and 24 RBI, scoring 27 runs and stealing 13 bases... Posted an on-base percentage of .453 with a .576 slugging percentage... Named the team's MVP as a junior and senior... Also a two-time All-San Joaquin Athletic Association first team selection while earning a pair of all-area second team honors... Hit .388 with 16 runs scored and 10 RBI as a junior, to go with five doubles and a triple... Walked 11 times, posted an on-base percentage of .482, and slugged .492 on the year.
PERSONAL Parents are Eddie and Jennifer... His cousin, Shannon, is a 2015 graduate of UC Davis... If he could play any other sport at UC Davis, it would be basketball.
