SHELDON HS ’17
Four-year letter winner for the Huskies… Helped lead Sheldon HS to a Delta River League title as a freshman and a CIF San Joaquin Section title as a sophomore… Team MVP and a first-team all-league honoree as a junior, posting a 23-2 overall record in the circle with a 1.78 ERA in 149.1 innings, striking out 141 hitters en route to a league and CIF section title… As a senior, finished 21-1 with a 1.33 ERA and 174 strikeouts in 149 innings, while also hitting .422 with five home runs... Led the Huskies to a third-straight section title and a third league title as a senior, tossing a three-hit shutout in the section championship game while striking out eight… Named league MVP, first-team all-league, and first-team all-state, as a senior, while also being named an NFCA third-team All-American, leading the team to a 30-2 record and a No. 1 ranking by Cal-Hi Sports as the top team in Northern California…

PERSONAL
Parents are James and Shannon… Has three siblings: Marday, Monique, and James, Jr… Chose UC Davis because of “the great academic environment, softball program sense of unity, beautiful facilities and the coaches really made me feel like part of the Davis family.”
