2019-20: Competed twice in Reining during the season...Scored a 67.5 on Tawny on Nov. 15 against Fresno State...In final Western meet of the year, scored a 69 at South Dakota State on Feb. 22. 

2018-19: Competed in all six regular season meets for the Aggies… Made her UC Davis debut and secured her first career Horsemanship win in the Aggies’ inaugural home meet on Jan. 31, edging the Hornets with a season-best mark, 71-70, aboard Toby… Logged a season-high Reining mark of 70 in the Aggies’ home finale meet at the UC Davis Equestrian Center on Mar. 2, aboard Noodle… Represented UC Davis at the 2019 NCEA National Championships in both Horsemanship and Reining… Compiled an 0-6 overall Reining record and a 1-6 Horsemanship mark on the season.

UC DAVIS EQUESTRIAN CLUB TEAM (2015-18): Top 10 rider in the region for IHSA during the 2017-18 season.

PERSONAL: Born in Seattle, Wash… Parents are Ronda and John Russell… Has an older sister, Elizabeth, who graduated from Cal Poly in 2017… Graduated with honors from Stanwood HS in 2015... Career plans include working with the UN or another international organization focusing on human rights... Before training with the UC Davis equestrian club team in 2015 Russell was self-taught... She is most proud of her horse Melody, after adopting her from the BLM completely wild and training her to be beginner safe... Her top three bucket list items include traveling the world, making a change, and giving back to her parents.
