Biography

2020: Finished with eight goals and two assists in 20 games... Finished with 10 points... Recorded five steals, 15 drawn kickouts and three 5M shots... The team’s captain made two of her three career hat tricks in 2020… Scored a hat trick against Pomona-Pitzer (2/8) at the Triton Invitational… First of the season took place vs. Fresno Pacific (1/19) when she scored three times against the Sunbirds… Finished with a career-high four goals vs. FPU. 

2019: Made an appearance in 27 games this season for 266 minutes… Put up 15 goals in best season as an Aggie so far… Scored two goals four times: No. 13 LMU (Feb. 10), No. 18 Princeton (Mar. 2), No. 18 Harvard (Mar. 16), No. 22 CSUN (Apr. 26)… Third on the team with 22 drawn exclusions, and added four field blocks. 

2018: Played in 19 games for 114 minutes… Made eight goals, one assist, nine steals, and five drawn exclusions… Also drew two five-meter fouls… One of five leading scorers against Arizona State on Feb. 10… Completed a hat trick against Redlands on Feb. 25.

2017: Played in 25 games for 141 minutes total… Scored six goals, four of which were scored in back-to-back games with Sonoma State (2/18) and Occidental (2/18)… Also collected one assist, six steals, two of which were also in the Occidental game, and four drawn exclusions.

2016: Redshirted.

SAN CLEMENTE HS '15: Four-year All-South Coast League selection, adding first-team All-Southern Section Div. II accolades as a senior... Posted 51 goals with 45 assists and 46 steals in final season, helping team advance to CIF-SS title game... Garnerned All-America honors for Alliance Aquatics (Mission Viejo).

PERSONAL: Born in Mission Viejo, Calif.... Majoring in biological sciences, with a minor in environmental toxicology... Parents are Christopher & Marion Smithson... Hopes for career as a forensic anthropologist... Career sports highlight was earning first-team All-Southern Section.
