DAVIS SENIOR HS '19: Led the Blue Devils to four straight Delta League and CIF Sac-Joaquin Section championships... Served as vice president for "Second Touch Soccer," a group committed to spreading interest in the sport by collecting and distributing new or gently  used soccer equipment, and gear, to children around the world.

PERSONAL: One of Jessielyn and Issa Dmeiri’s four children… Siblings are Naji, Jaleel and Zayn… Naji is a Class of 2017 UC Davis alum…  Received the Seal of Biliteracy her senior year… Four-year Honor Roll member… Spent nine years competing for Davis Legacy, her club team… Named Player of the Tournament for the 2016 Davis Legacy College Showcase… Five-year team captain… Nominated by Davis Legacy, and selected by Generation Adidas to train with Olympique Lyonnaise Academy Team in Lyon, France, in 2017… As part of the Player Development Program, she was selected to represent Northern California at the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2018… Scored the championship-winning goal for Davis Legacy at the 2016 Surf Cup… Led her club team to three Surf Cup championships (2016-18)… That same team was a national finalist at the 2018 ECNL National Championship… Most people do not know that she is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish… Earning a spot on the PDP team that competed in the Gothia Cup and committing to play soccer at UC Davis are her proudest personal accomplishments… Maya Doms is the best athlete she competed against… The Olympique Lyonnais Training Center is her favorite facility… Beautiful Boy is her favorite movie... Lionel Messi and Pelé are her sports heroes… Hobbies are anything related to art: painting, drawing, photography, traveling, reading novels, writing, and the following outdoor activities: biking, tree climbing, hiking, and hanging out with friends… Roman Gabriel — a quarterback who played for the L.A. Rams and Philadelphia Eagles — is her cousin… The top three things on her bucket list are skydiving seeing all Seven Wonders of the World and running a marathon… You can take away everything she owns except her soccer ball… Chose UC Davis because it was the right fit, it is academically challenging and the perfect fit for her.
