2021: NCAA QUALIFIER in 400 hurdles... Placed 3rd in 400 hurdles (season-best 51.86), 2nd in 110 hurdles (14.32) at Big West Conference Championships... Also anchored 3rd-place 4x400 relay at conference meet... Ran PR 14.17 in high hurdles at Hornet Invite (3/20), 6th in school history... Other highlights: 52.27 at Bryan Clay (4/17), 52.68 at CSF Tri-Meet (3/4)... Double winner at Causeway Track Classic, posting times of 14.22 and 52.69 in the two hurdles events, respectively.
2020: Ran open 400 of 49.90 at Cal Opener before COVID-19 suspended the remainder of the season... Earned Big West Spring Academic All-Conference and Commissioner’s Honor Roll nods.
2019: NCAA QUALIFIER in 400 hurdles, hitting PR 51.38 in West Prelim first round... That mark ranks 5th in school history, and fastest since Karl Moran at the same meet in 2014... Followed with 52.10 in quarterfinals... Earned NCAA berth due to 51.71 at USC Trojan Invite (3/16)... Placed 3rd in 400 hurdles (51.97), 6th in 110 hurdles (season-best 14.34) at Big West Conference Championships... Also part of Aggies’ 4x400 relay, anchoring 3:19.03 at Sun Angel Classic (4/6)... Added 48.22 in open 400 at UCLA Legends meet (3/30)... Big West Academic All-Conference honoree.
2018: Placed within the top 5 of every performance in the 110 hurdles and the 400 hurdles during the season… Recorded the top two fastest times on the UC Davis performance list, both of which were first-place finishes… Hit a 51.96 400 hurdles mark at the Trojan Invite on Mar. 17, which is currently the fifth best time on the Aggie all-timers list… Also clocked in a personal best 110 hurdles mark of 14.62 seconds at the same meet. Granted a medical hardship year.
EAST ROOSEVELT HS ’17: Did track and field all four years, and competed in the 200m, 400m, 110m hurdles, and the 300m hurdles… Got the Top Newcomer award freshman year… Set personal bests in all four events during the 2017 outdoor season: 21.83 in the 200m, 47.98 in the 400m, 13.91 in the 110m hurdles, and 35.30 in the 300m hurdles as an unattached runner. Also as an unattached runner in the 2017 outdoor season, he competed in the 400m hurdles, and got a personal best of 51.77 at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships… Received both Scholar Athlete of the Year and Sports MVP awards.
PERSONAL: Born in Corona, Calif… Majoring in Psychology, and wants to pursue a career working in orthopedics… Parents are Tracy and Anthony… Has two older brothers Jason (30) and Domonique (30), and one older sister Kristian (26)… His proudest personal accomplishment was finishing his high school season as California’s number 12 all-time in the 300m hurdles… His sports hero is Edwin Moses, while his non-sports hero is Martin Luther King Jr… Says if he could play another sport at UC Davis, it would be football… The reason why he chose UC Davis was because it seemed to be the best fit for him both academics and athletics wise.
