2021: His two saves were a team-high total… Drove in a run against Portland (2/28)… Drew a walk vs. UC Riverside (4/4)… Pitched a season-high 4.1 innings vs. UC Irvine… Posted a season-high six strikeouts against Washington State (2/21) and UC Irvine (3/21).

2020: On roster but did not appear in a game. 

2019: Appeared in 10 games for the Aggies, splitting time on the mound and behind the plate… Made his Division I debut behind the plate on Feb. 23 at Arizona State… Logged his first career hit off the bench at Hawai’i (4/7) as part of a 1-for-1 night… Made his first career appearance on the mound against San Francisco on Apr. 22, allowing two earned runs on five hits over a season-long three innings, striking out a pair… Threw two scoreless innings of relief against San Francisco on May 14, allowing just one hit and striking out one to help the Aggies to an extra-inning win over the Dons, 3-2… Finished the season with a 2.79 ERA, allowing just three runs and striking out six over 9.2 innings of work. 

SARATOGA HS ’18: Dual-sport athlete for Saratoga HS… Underclassman of the Year recipient in 2016… Garnered all-league accolades as a sophomore and junior and was also voted MVP by his teammates in 2017… Averaged .304 with nine doubles as a sophomore, and .468 with 14 doubles and three home runs as a junior… Averaged .524 at the plate with 12 home runs, 10 doubles, two triples, and 40 RBI as a senior… Peng also played water polo as a freshman and football as a sophomore for Saratoga HS… Recipient of the President’s Award… Garnered a 3.7 GPA during his high school academic career… Also competed for the Trosky Baseball club team based out of San Jose (2012-2018). 

PERSONAL: Born in Fremont, Calif… Has a younger brother… Lists Buster Posey as his sports hero.
