2020: Posted career highs in hits (22), runs (20), total bases (30) and doubles (5) despite COVID-shortened season... Hit .297/.357/.405, also highs... Started all 27 games... Collected 3 hits each vs. Portland State (Feb. 15) and BYU (Mar. 6)... Launched 2-run homer in shutout of East Carolina (Mar. 6)... Went 2-for-4 with 3 runs and 2 RBI vs. Saint Mary’s (Mar. 1)... Fired two outfield assists vs. Bradley (Feb. 14), both forcing runners at second... Earned Big West Academic All-Conference.
2019: Appeared in 47 games, making 38 starts... Finished with 20 hits, 12 runs scored, and drove in 11 on the season... Her 11 sacrifice hits broke Jessica Gonzalez's 2010 program Division I single-season record and led the Big West Conference... Finished with two hits three times against Montana (Feb. 9), Pacific (April 23), and Hawai'i (May 9)... Drove in two runs twice against UC Riverside (April 20) and the Rainbow Wahine... Finished with a hit in five straight games from April 19-27, and ended the year with hits in each of her last three contests.
2018: Appeared in 31 games, making 21 starts -- mostly in the outfield... Finished with a season-best two hits with a home run and two RBI as part of a 2-for-3 day against Cal State Fullerton on April 29... Also scored two runs in that game against the Titans... Finished with single hits and an RBI in five other games.
2017: Set a new Div. I single-game record with seven at bats vs. Cal Poly (4/29)...Named a starting outfielder in 27 of 42 games played... Played a critical role in the series against Cal Poly with an RBI and run scored in both the second and third game of the series... In game two (4/29), the freshman recorded a season game-high three hits and double to finish a 3-for-7 day in the 13 inning contest... The following day, she went 1-for-3 with a home run, the team's only run, in the 1-0 series finale (4/30) victory... Hit .353 as the leadoff, .500 as a pinch hitter, .333 with a runner on third and less than two outs, and .313 with two outs... Had a season-high two runs scored against Oregon State on March 3 at the San Diego Classic I.
GRAND TERRACE HS '16: Four-year letterwinner... Led her softball team to league championships in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Grand Terrace also won a sectional title during her junior season... Earned All-Sunkist League recognition all four seasons; named to the first team as a freshman, junior, senior, and to the second team as a sophomore.
PERSONAL: The middle of Monica and Henry Jauregui's three children... Rosendo and Henry are her older and younger siblings... Played for the Explosion club team from 2014-16... Most people do not know that she is ambidextrous... Being selected senior class president is her proudest personal accomplishment... Melanie Olmos, Alyssa Barrera and Schuylar Broussard are the best athletes she has competed against... Earning Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolades as a senior is her career sports highlight... Would choose volleyball if she could play another sport at UC Davis... Becoming a mother, traveling through Europe and witnessing a miracle are the top things on her bucket list... Chose UC Davis because it felt like home... Served as congressional intern for Rep. Pete Aguilar in summer of 2019.
