2019: Started 10 of 12 games at defensive end... Finished 2nd among Aggie D-line with 35 total tackles (24 solos, 11 assists)... Tied for 2nd on team with 6.5 TFLs, including 2.5 sacks... Also had a pass breakup (at Cal) and a QB hurry (at Portland State)... Credited for season-high 6 tackles twice: 2-4-6 line at Cal (8/31), 5-1-6 in home finale vs. Montana State (11/16)... Had solo sacks against Weber State (10/26) and Sacramento State (11/23), the former of which came by virtue of an intentional grounding call... Earned one of team’s Championship Culture awards at year-end banquet.
2018: Recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown at Cal Poly (10/20)… That was one of three games that Ocansey collected a career-high four tackles; the other two took place vs. San Diego (9/8) and Sacramento State (11/17)… Forced his first career fumble against Idaho (9/22)… Broke up his first career pass at Northern Colorado (10/5)… Collected a sack in back-to-back games against Idaho and at Northern Colorado; the other half sack took place against the Hornets… Finished with 4.5 tackles for loss, for 26 yards… Twelve of his 29 total tackles were solo.
2017: Played in seven games as a sophomore... Finished with four tackles, one solo and three assisted... Finished with two assisted tackles and a fumble recovery at Idaho State (11/4) and one against Cal Poly (10/28)... Recorded a solo tackle at Northern Arizona (10/21).
2016: Saw action in four games... Recorded one assisted tackle at home versus Southern Utah (10/8).
2015: Redshirted.
TENNYSON HS '15: Earned All-WACC Foothill League second team honors after finishing with 82 total tackles (50 solo) during his senior season... Opened that year with 10 stops against James Logan HS... Posted five sacks for 44 yards, including 1.5 sacks against James Logan... Blocked a kick and recovered a fumble... Caught 10 passes for 207 yards on the offensive side of the ball... Finished with 47 tackles (32 solo) and 3.5 sacks, for a loss of 34 yards, as a junior... Named best overall senior... Also played for his school's soccer team.
