2017: 2018 ALL-BIG WEST ACADEMIC… Competed in a total of five meets, two of which were post-season events… Opened up his 2017 season at the Aggie Open, where he finished in ninth place with a personal-best 6K time of 19:44… Set his personal-best 8K time at the Big West Conference Championships after crossing the line in 44th with a time of 26:02.9… Concluded his final meet of the season with a personal-best 10K mark of 32:22.2 at the NCAA West Regionals.

MONACHE HS’13/CAL POLY: Placed 37th at the CIF State Cross Country Championships in the 5K (16:04) senior year of high school… Set PRs in the 1600m (4:33.3), placing first at the Mission Oak dual meet, and in the 3200m (9:33.26)… Competed two season in cross country and track at Cal Poly… Ran the ninth-fastest 10K in the nation among the two-year college ranks… Placed sixth in the 1500m race (4:00.91) at the 2014 Mt. SAC Relays… Set his PR in the 5000m as a sophomore (14:50.23) at the Occidental Invitational and his PR in the 4 mile (20:51) at the 2013 CCCAA State Championships
