ARLINGTON HS [apos]11: Named to All-Inland Valley League first team in 2010 after making second team as a sophomore... Helped Lions to 10-3 record, IVL runner-up finishes in 2009 and 2010; and a Southern Section playoff berth... Three-year Scholar-Athlete honoree.

PERSONAL: Born in Riverside, Calif.... Majoring in international relations... Parents are Jeff & Dianne Smith... Her older brother, Trevor, is on the cross country and track and field teams at UC Irvine... Little-known fact: she weighed just 2.1 pounds at birth.
