MT. SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE: Second-team All-South Coast Conference honoree as a freshman in 2011, batting .513 (20-for-39) in league play... Hit .373 (31-for-83) in 2012, ranking second on the team in runs (28) and doubles (10)... Also amassed 20 RBIs and stole six bases in seven attempts... Did not commit an error in 93 chances (48 PO, 45 A)... Helped team to 33-5 overall record and 19-2 mark in SCC play as a sophomore.
NORCO HS '08: Garnered All-Mountain View League honors for four straight years... Helped team to consecutive league titles as a sophomore and junior.
PERSONAL: Born in Fountain Valley, Calif.... Majoring in political science, plans on going on to law school... Mother is Irma Peña... Oldest player on team, turns 23 shortly after 2013 regular season ends... Career highlight was hitting back-to-back homers during Sophomore Day at Mt. SAC.
