WARREN HS '13: Earned three varsity letters as a member of Warren High School's boys' basketball team... Averaged 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in 2011... Earned all-San Gabriel Valley League honors... The following season, Onyebalu posted per game averages of 17.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists to earn all-San Gabriel Valley League first team accolades... Long Beach Press-Telegram named Onyebalu to its "Dream Team" that year... Named to the school's honor roll for the 2009-10 academic year for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher, Principal's Honor Roll in 2010-11 for earning a 4.0 GPA throughout the entire year and President's Academic Honor Roll in 2012-13 for recording a GPA higher than 4.0 for the full academic year.
