Shared medalist honors with 1-under finish at high-caliber PING/ASU Invitational... Tied for team-high honors with 9 rounds at par or better including three rounds in below 70... Had six top-10 finishes... Was in the top 10 four of her last six tournaments including a T-4th at the Big West Championship... Named among top 50 women[apos]s college players to watch by Golf World prior to season... Advanced to match play at U.S. Women[apos]s Amateur for second straight year.
2010-11: NGCA ALL-REGION... BIG WEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR... ALL-BIG WEST FIRST TEAM... Led team with 4 top-five finishes and 8 in the top-10... Posted team-best 74.3 average over 39 rounds and 11 events... Had back-to-back roundsof 2-under 70 to open Big West Championships in which she finished third at 3 under... Was T-4th at Stanford[apos]s Peg Barnard Invitational, T-5th at the NCAA West Regional and was T-6th at the Fresno State Lexus Classic... Twice carded 69[apos]s, the first at The Topy Cup in Japan and then later at the regional... Was just a shot over par at both the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at New Mexico and at the regional... Participated in NCAA West Regional at Stanford... Advanced to U.S. Women[apos]s Amateur quarterfinals in summer following sophomore season.
2009-10: ALL-BIG WEST FIRST TEAM...Ranked third among Aggie regulars in scoring (75.5) and fourth for rounds played (24)... Had seven top-20 finishes, including a runner-up showing at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational... Finished that tournament with rounds of 73 and 72... Was fourth at the Big West Championship and T-9th at the Fresno State Lexus Classic... Opened the Turtle Bay Collegiate Invitational with a 68 and 69, eventually tying for 10th... Her round of 68 is tied for second-lowest on the team... Capped her Big West tournament with a 1-over 73, tied for lowest of the day.
TORRANCE HS [apos]09: Selected team MVP during her senior season... Helped lead Torrance to a trio of state championships and a runner-up finish while also capturing Ocean League championships each year... Was two-time Ocean League medalist... All-Area selection in 2007.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles, Calif... Communication major... Parents are Arnulfo and Lydia Runas... Career highlight was making it to the quarterfinal round of the U.S. Women[apos]s Amateur this past summer... Wouldn[apos]t change anything about golf but to ask for more patience... Wants to play professionally in the future... Only superstition when playing is to change her golf ball every six holes.
