2018: Appeared in 12 games out of the bullpen for the Aggies… Finished his junior season with a 5.79 ERA and six strikeouts over 9.1 innings of work… Made his UC Davis debut with 0.2 innings of scoreless, hitless relief in the home opener against nationally ranked Stanford on Feb. 19… Threw a season-long two innings against Northern Colorado (March 17), scattering a pair of hits and posting a season-best two strikeouts… Also tossed an inning of scoreless, hitless relief against Causeway rival Sacramento State (April 17) and Big West colleague Cal State Fullerton (May 4).

GLENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Named an All-Western Conference relief pitcher in 2016… Deans List honoree during all four semesters… Named to the California Community College Coaches Association Academic All-State team.

PERSONAL: Born in Pasadena, Calif…Communications major… Parents are Phil and Robin Torres… has an older brother, Zack, and a younger sister, Marina… His father played baseball at San Diego State and, later, in the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros organizations… Lists Cal Ripken Jr. as his sports hero.
