2008: Finished 5th in triple jump (14.85m, 48-8.75) at Big West Conference Championships... Added an 11th in long jump (6.63m, 21-9), his only appearance of the year for that event... Posted three meet wins in triple, including wind-aided 14.97m (49-1.5) at Payton Jordan Invite... Best wind-legal jump was 14.69m (48-2.5) in Causeway Dual. 2007: Sported team[apos]s season-best long jump, hitting 7.14m (23-5.25) at Stanford Quad meet in his only outdoor appearance... Competed twice indoors, posting 7.16 (23-6) at Washington Indoor... Mark ranks 3rd on school indoor list. 2006: One of two Aggie double-event winners at Div. I Independent Championships (along with Polly Gnepa)... Captured triple jump at 14.81 (48-7.25), then added long jump title with leap of 6.89 (22-7.25)... Triple jump victory was one of five 1st-place finishes, starting with season-best 14.91 (48-11) at All-Cal Challenge... Best wind-legal long jump was 6.97 (22-10.5) in Causeway Dual... One of two UC Davis representatives (with thrower Matthew Swarbrick) to qualify for legendary Modesto Relays... Finished 4th (as lone collegian) with 14.66 (48-1.25). 2005: Redshirted. HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Phillips Academy in 2004... Selected as 2003 Athlete of the Year at Palo Alto HS, which he attended for three years... Enjoyed three-sport career at PAHS, starring in track & field, football and wrestling... In all, earned six All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League awards, including a pair of MVP honors... Set school triple jump record of 47-2 at the Central Coast Section championships... Named as SCVAL De Anza Division[apos]s Best Offensive Player in football in 2002, then Best Defensive Player in 2003... Finished third at CIF-CCS wrestling meet as a junior 152-pounder, advancing to state tournament. PERSONAL: Born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands... Exercise biology major... Parents are Osetonji & Omobola Wusu... Full name is Tolulope Oluwayo Wusu, but goes by 'Tolu'.
