2010: Placed 4th in pole vault at Big West Conference Championships with season-best 4.93m (16-2).
2009: Competed in pole vault in five meets, posting season-best 4.75m (15-7) at Woody Wilson Classic.
DOS PUEBLOS HS [apos]08: Finished 3rd in pole vault at both Southern Section (15-0) and CIF-SS Masters (15-4) as a senior... Two-year state meet qualifier, finishing 13th and 10th as a junior and senior, respectively... Prep PR was 15-7... Won Santa Barbara County and section titles in 2007... Also competed for Santa Barbara Pole Vault Club for two seasons.
PERSONAL: Born in Herrenburg, Germany... Majoring in computer science & engineering... Parents are Simon & Sally Turvey... Avid in the art of lutherie, otherwise known as guitar-making.
