2017: Improved her steeplechase best by over thirty seconds at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival to break into the school's all-time list at No. 9 (10:51.44)... Finished ninth in the event at the Big West Championships... Also ran 10:57.78 at the prestigious Mt. Sac Relays... Dropped four seconds from her 800 best to win the Mondo Team Challenge (2:12.84)... Improved on that time at Causeway Classic to earn second place (2:12.04)... Ran 4:37.76 in the 1500 at Cal Opener.
2016: Earned All-Big West honors with an eight place finish in the steeplechase... Hit lifetime best of 11:21.88 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival... Placed second in the 1500 at Woody Wilson Classic (4:42.96).
2015: Competed at three meets in an injury shortened season... Ran 4:58.09 in the 1500 at San Francisco State Distance Carnival... Hit 5000 best of 18:40 at West Coast Last Chance Meet.
2014: Raced three times during true freshman season, all of them in the 1,500... Had her best time at Cal's Brutus Hamilton Open, crossing in 4:43.99... Had her highest finished at the Causeway Dual, placing fifth... Also raced at the home-opening Aggie Open.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed five times in 2014, opening the year with 14th-place showing at Aggie Open... Also ran at Big West Championships and NCAA West Regional... Saw action in four meets as a freshman... Was 12th at the Aggie Open and 21st at the Doc Adams Open, both on UC Davis' home course.
CANYON HS '13: She was captain her junior and senior year of highschool... Her personal record in the cross country 5k stands at 17:09 and is the Century League record... Qualified to the CIF State Championships in cross country and finished 20th in18:32... Also ran middle and long distance events in track... Ran a personal-best in the 800 with a 2:15.09... Had a5:00.64 PR in the 1600and10:56 in the 3200... Three-year league champion in both the 1600 and 3200... Qualified to the CIF-SS Division Prelims in the 3200 and 1600.
PERSONAL: Born in Orange, Calif.... Majoring in English...Parents are Roberta and Ron Goins... Triplet siblingsAustin and Rianna also attend UC Davis and compete for the Aggies... Getting accepted to UC Davis is her greatest personal accomplishment... Earning a Century League title was one of her two most memorable athletics accomplishments... Holding Canyon's all-time record is the other... Chose to attend UC Davis because she felt like she fit in with the team and loved the college town feel... Becoming an elementary school teacher is her career aspiration... Would love to visit Paris... Follows two superstitions: every night before a race, she would visit to the same pasta place for dinner and, on race day, she always consumed a yellow energy drink... Her advice to others, "Think about how far you have gotten. Not about how far you still have to go."
