LA CANADA HS’17: Did both cross country and track all four years… In track, she competed in multiple events: 300m and 400m hurdles freshman year, 400m run her sophomore year, 800m run her junior year, and competed in the 800m, 1500m, and 160m run her senior year… Set PRs in all three running events of her senior year (2:23 in the 800m, 5:04 in the 1500m, and 5:25 in the 1600m)… In academics, she got accepted in the National Merit Scholarship Program (2016), and was awarded with a AP Scholar with Distinction award in 2017.

PERSONAL: Born in Glendale, Calif… Majoring in Animal Science, and plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine… Parents are Melody and Jonathan, where they both went to UC Davis and did cross country and gymnastics, respectively… Has one younger brother Luke (16)… Was competitively involved in long distance horse riding and won first place in her division at the Tevis Cup in 2013… Says if she could play another sport at UC Davis, it would be equine jumping.
