2014: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... Made 49 appearances and 46 starts at third base for the Aggies... Hit .337 for the season en route to postseason all-conference honors, scoring 26 runs, smacking seven doubles, and driving home 22 runs... Ranked fifth in the league and tops among league qualifiers in batting average... His on-base percentage of .403 stood third overall... Shared the team lead in runs scored and stood second on the squad in hits... Led the team with 20 multi-hit games, including six games with three hits... 2013 : Made 42 appearances with 26 starts coming at shortstop and second base...Hit .232 in 95 at-bats with 13 runs scored, six doubles, one triple and 10 RBIs...Had a season-high two RBIs in back-to-back games against UC Riverside...Had a season-best two hits against Nevada on April 16 and again in the next two games against the Highlanders...Also had two hits against rival Sacramento State on May 7...Tripled, scored and drove in a run at Long Beach State on April 13.

2012: Started 16 games (13 at short) of 34 total appearances... Batted 9-for-44 (.205) with a double, three runs and four RBIs... Laid down five sacrifice hits... Managed a season-high two RBIs without a hit vs. Seattle (Mar. 9)... Hit lone double at CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 25) during string of five straight starts.

2011: Appeared in 24 games with eight starts as a true freshman, splitting time between shortstop and second base... First career hit came on Mar. 1 at Sacramento State... Finished debut season with five hits, including a double against UC Irvine on Apr. 22... Had a pinch hit single and scored Aggies[apos] only run against San Jose State on Apr. 26.

DAMIEN HS [apos]10: Twice captured All-Sierra League and team Gold Glove honors as a shortstop... Batted .354 with 25 runs and 17 RBIs as a senior, helping Spartans to 20-7 record and Southern Section postseason appearance... Added 5 doubles and 4 triples for .519 slugging... As a junior, hit 21-for-59 for .356 batting and .480 OBA... Played summer ball for SoCal Bombers.

PERSONAL: Born in West Covina, Calif.... Sociology major... Parents are Greg and Patricia Young... Proudest personal accomplishment was volunteering for Make-A-Wish Foundation... Career hihglight was making a game-saving diving play during the CIF-SS playoffs.
