2019: Appeared in 22 games out of the bullpen for the Aggies, making one start… Ended the year 0-2 with a 4.57 ERA to go along with a save… Earned his first career start against Nevada on Feb. 19, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out three… Struck out a career-best four over 2.1 innings of scoreless relief in the Aggies’ 3-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on May 3… Picked up his first career save against Utah Valley on Mar. 1… Solid out of the bullpen to finish the year, allowing just three earned runs over his last 14 innings… Opponents averaged .294 against him in 21 relief appearances.
2018: Appeared in 17 games on the mound out of the bullpen for the Aggies… Finished his debut season with a 7.30 ERA, striking out 18 and holding opponents to a .327 average over 24.2 innings of work… Made his collegiate debut in relief against against CSU Bakersfield on Feb. 18… Threw a season-long three innings of scoreless, hitless relief against nationally ranked Creighton (2/25), striking out a pair… Struck out a season-high three against San Francisco (4/24), Sacramento State (5/8), and New Mexico (5/18)… Allowed a combined two hits in two innings of scoreless relief in appearances against California (3/27) and Big West colleague CSUN (5/13).

OAKMONT HS '16: First-team All-Capital Valley Conference and honorable mention All-Metro choice in 2015, hitting .305 with 22 RBI, while posting a 1.62 ERA in 12 appearances on the mound, finishing with three complete games… As a senior, was a first-team all-conference and second-team All-Metro selection as a senior, hitting .376 with two home runs and 18 RBI, finishing with a 1.66 ERA in 12 appearances on the mound, collecting three complete games and two shutouts… Struck out a prep-best 56 batters as a junior, and added 48 more as a senior… Threw a no-hitter with seven strikeouts against Ponderosa HS as a senior.
PERSONAL: Mother is Heidi… Has three siblings: Emily, Tom, and Allison… His uncle, Greg, played baseball as San Francisco, while cousins Chris and Ray were swimmers at Arizona and South Dakota, respectively… If he could play any other sport at UC Davis, it would be basketball… Lists his hobbies as playing basketball, fishing, and listening to music.
