HONORS AND AWARDS
• 2021 Big West Conference All-Academic Team

2024: Played in 20 games (18 starts, 1,600 minutes)... Recorded six assists with one goal (eight points)... Six shots (16.7 SH%)... Three shots on goal (50.0 SOG%).

2023: Played in all 19 matches and started 15 for a total of 1,059 minutes…had 14 shots…had a season high three shots against UC San Diego…played in a season high 90 minutes in five matches

2022: Competing in all 18 games and starting two, Ruelas totaled 757 minutes played with 12 shots, 5 shots on goal contributing to a 1-1 draw against Sacramento State (1) (9/1), a 1-1 draw against CSUN (1) (9/25),a 4-1 victory over CSU Bakersfield (2) (10/13),and a 2-2 draw against UC Irvine (1) (10/23).

2021: Appeared in 18 games with 15 starts...Earned first collegiate point in her collegiate debut, recording an assist in a 1-0 win over New Mexico (8/19)...Added her first career goal two days later at UNLV, getting off four shots in total and two on goal (8/21)...Scored two goals in a 4-0 win at Idaho State off a career-high five shots in total (9/5)...Added an assist in a 4-2 win over UCSB (9/26)...Registered multiple shots in seven games and multiple shots on goal in four games. 

2020: Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.

DIAMOND BAR HS ’20: Three-sport student-athlete in soccer, cross country and track & field… Four-year honor roll selection.

PERSONAL: Competed for Legends FC (Eastvale/Corona) for five years… Not many people know: she is half Mexican, Korean and spoke both languages as a child; she played golf and swam competitively; she is a huge punk rock and alternative music fan (Green Day and SWMRS are her favorite bands)… Committing to play soccer at UC Davis and earning Rookie of the Year honors in high school are her proudest personal accomplishments… Silverlakes Sports Complex (Norco, Calif.) is her favorite facility that hosted one of her team’s competitions… Career sports highlight took place when she was nominated for the Top 11 Team at a national tournament… Moana is her favorite movie… Megan Rapinoe is her sports hero… Non-sports hero is her dad… Becoming a physician’s assistant is her post-UC Davis plan… Baking and watching movies are her hobbies… Earning her degree, visiting one country on each continent (except Antarctica) and skydiving are the top three items on her bucket list… Chose UC Davis because it offered the perfect balance of athletics and academics.
