2023: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM selection on beam … MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC … Competed in 10 meets … Posted eight scores of 9.80 or above … Placed third on beam at the Sacramento State Quad (3/3) with a season-best score of 9.90 … Runner-up against San Jose State on beam with a 9.85 (2/5).

2022: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM on beam … WCGA SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICAN … MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC … Made the lineup in eight meets, all on beam … Posted scores of 9.80 or above five times, including a best of 9.875 … Was the runner-up with that 9.875 against rival Sacramento State (1/16).

2021: UC Davis opted out of the 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic... The NCAA Division I Council adopted legislation to extend the eligibility of student-athletes that compete in winter sports; gymnastics student-athletes will received an additional season of eligibility and an extra year to complete it.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Ann Sobrato High School... Competed for Airborne Gymnastics TC from 2009 through 2020, moving to Level 10 as a 12-year-old... Trained at Olympic Training Center for three years, making monthly trips to Texas while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA in school... Finished 2nd at state meet, 3rd at regional in all-around, earning the first of four trips to J.O. nationals in that first Level 10 season (2015)... Best national AA finish was 14th in 2016... Won bars and beam at Region 1 meet in 2018, but sat out 2019 due to injury... Set club records for bars (9.875), beam (9.900) and all-around (38.675)... Posted three event wins on bars and beam in 2020 before season was shortened due to COVID quarantine.

PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif.... Majoring in neurobiology, physiology & behavior... Parents are John Lyle & Korinda Chin... Youngest of four siblings, along with Justin, Kiara and Karissa... Kiara competed in diving at Cal Poly... Proudest personal accomplishment was advancing to J.O. nationals for four straight years.
