Biography

2023: Competed in four meets, all on bars … Posted two scores of 9.80 or above … Highest score of the season was a 9.825 at the MPSF Championships.

2022: Competed in four meets … Made four appearances on bars, one on beam and two on floor … Her high score of the season came on vault (1/30) with a 9.775.

2021: UC Davis opted out of the 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic... The NCAA Division I Council adopted legislation to extend the eligibility of student-athletes that compete in winter sports; gymnastics student-athletes will received an additional season of eligibility and an extra year to complete it.

2020: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM on both vault and floor... Granted one of team’s OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION AWARDS... Also averaged 38.915 in five all-around appearances, one shy of qualifying for all-conference accolades... Won three MPSF Freshman of the Week awards within a span of four weeks (Feb. 3, 17, 24)... Posted season-high 39.175 at Sacramento State (Mar. 7), helped by 9.825 on beam and 9.800 on floor... Hit 9.800 on FX on three other occasions: NorCal Classic (Jan. 12), San Jose State (Feb. 7), at Air Force (Feb. 15)... Stuck bars high of 9.850 on that USAFA road meet as well. 

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Four-year honor roll student at Central Valley Christian, graduating in 2019... Began competing Level 10 for Central California Gymnastics Institute in 2013, just shy of her 11th birthday... Advanced to Junior Olympics Nationals in 2017 and 2018, finishing 12th on floor and all-around during her first trip... Qualified for Region 1 Championships all seven years at Level 10, capturing the 2017 floor championship along the way... Also played golf for CVC, helping her team snare two Central Sequoia League titles... Note: UC Davis head gymnastics coach John Lavallee also teaches a PE activity course in golf.

PERSONAL: Born in Visalia, Calif.... Has not declared a major... Parents are Tim & Darlene Clagg... Younger of two sisters, along with Trinity (21)... Three bucket list items: traveling the world, bungie jumping and petting an elephant... Chose UC Davis because of the "awesome coaches that care not only about your sport but your academic success as well."
