2014:ALL-BIG SKY HONORABLE MENTION... Played in 10 games, starting eight... Played center all season but will move to left tackle for 2015 season.

2013:Played in 10 games, earning nine starts... Missed first appearance in third game before starting final eight.

2012:Appeared in five games on the offensive line.

2011: Redshirted.

ARCHBISHOP MITTY HS '11: Selected as West Catholic Athletic League Offensive Lineman of the Year as a senior... Also made San Jose Mercury News All-Area and San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro first teams... Selected as team captain and Most Valuable Defensive Lineman... Tallied 42 tackles with a sack and 2 pass breakups in 2009... Helped team to 10-1 record and WCAL title that year... National Honor Society and CSF Lifetime Member, won school's Walter Hainger Student-Athlete Award.

PERSONAL: Born in Los Altos, Calif.... Majoring in managerial economics... Parents are Steve & Jennifer Smith... Steve played football at Pacific... Lists Anthony Munoz as his sports hero, Richard Pryor as his non-sports hero.
