DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis swim and dive program held its annual Blue vs. Gold intrasquad meet on Saturday at Schall Aquatics Center. Four different Aggies - Naomi Boegholm (50 free, 50 fly), Kayla Gregory (50 breast, 150 breast), Madison McCormick (150 fly, 300 IM) and Emily Scheberies (50 back, 150 back) - won two individual events each. Boegholm also swam the butterfly leg on the winning 200 medley relay squad to kick off the meet and the leadoff on the victorious 200 freestyle relay, while Gregory was the backstroke swimmer on the winning 200 medley relay team.

Others capturing individual swimming events included Ella Ackerman (800 free), Angelina Komashko (400 free), Ciara Looney (100 free) and Elsie Luisetti (150 free), while Katherine Lim captured the 3-meter diving competition.

In addition, Elise Ramsden (back) and Aileen Zhang (free) contributed to the winning 200 medley relay squad, while McKenna Valenta, Zheng and 'Ala Wong followed Boegholm in the 200 free relay.

The meet concluded with the swimmers and divers both competing in a friendly 1-meter diving event.

UC Davis opens its regular season with a swim only meet at Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 3 (10 am) before both the swimmers and divers will compete in the home opener against Nevada on Friday, Oct. 9 (Noon).
