UC Davis Officially Joins Mountain West as Conference Launches MW+ Streaming Platform Powered by Kiswe

DAVIS, Calif. — July 1 marks the beginning of a new era for UC Davis Athletics as the Aggies officially join the Mountain West Conference and launch alongside MW+, the Conference's new direct-to-consumer streaming platform powered by Kiswe.

Beginning today, Aggie fans can subscribe to MW+ and enjoy live and on-demand coverage of UC Davis Athletics throughout the academic year. The platform will serve as the dedicated home for hundreds of Mountain West events annually, providing expanded visibility for UC Davis student-athletes while creating new opportunities for fans to stay connected from anywhere.

As UC Davis begins its first year as a Mountain West member, MW+ offers supporters a new way to follow their favorite teams while directly investing in the future of Aggie Athletics. A majority of each subscription purchased through UC Davis' dedicated page is returned directly to the university, creating a new revenue stream that supports the student-athlete experience and the continued growth of Aggie Athletics.

Throughout the year, MW+ will provide live streaming coverage of Mountain West events not available through traditional broadcast partners, on-demand replays, original programming, and exclusive content highlighting student-athletes and programs across the Conference. Fans will also have access to interactive viewing features and a modern streaming experience available across web, mobile, and connected TV devices.

"Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for UC Davis Athletics," said UC Davis Director of Athletics Rocko DeLuca. "As we officially join the Mountain West, MW+ gives Aggie fans a new way to follow our teams and stay connected to our student-athletes from anywhere. Subscriptions purchased through UC Davis will directly support Aggie Athletics, creating another opportunity for our fans, alumni and supporters to invest in the future of our programs."

"MW+ is a game-changer for the Mountain West," said Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. "Not only are we expanding how fans connect with our schools and student-athletes, but we're also creating a powerful new revenue stream that directly benefits our member institutions. This is about building the future of our Conference, and this platform allows us to deliver more of our stories, more of our student-athletes, and more of our live events directly to the audiences who care most."

MW+ will feature live and on-demand coverage of 16 UC Davis varsity sports competing in the Mountain West, including men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, golf, cross country, and indoor and outdoor track & field.

MW+ subscriptions are available for $79.99 annually or $10.99 monthly. As part of the launch celebration, fans who purchase an annual subscription through September will receive a discounted rate of $67.99, a 15 percent savings off the regular annual price.

HOW TO WATCH

ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN WEST

Since its founding in 1999, the Mountain West has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence in intercollegiate athletics while advancing the academic missions of its member institutions. Central to that mission is the holistic development of our student-athletes—championing their success not only in competition but also in the classroom and in their personal growth.  Beginning with the 2026–27 season, the Mountain West will feature a comprehensive membership model that brings together full-time, all-sport institutions alongside select sport-specific members. University of California, Davis, and Grand Canyon University will join as all-sport members outside of football, while Colorado College (women's soccer), North Dakota State University (football), Northern Illinois University (football and women's gymnastics), and Utah Tech University (baseball and men's soccer) will compete as affiliate members in designated sports.
