STOCKTON, Calif. — UC Davis beach volleyball wrapped up the Saturday doubleheader on Apr. 11 with back-to-back 4-1 victories over San Jose State and in Big West conference play against Cal State Bakersfield.

THE RALLY
- The Aggies gutted out their win over the Spartans, clinching a three-set victory on the fifth court with Martin and Berard to ultimately take the victory.
- The team was also close in their two losing sets, going to extras (past 21 points) in three of four sets across the two games to stay competitive.
- Martin and Berard took their opponent to the distance on court five against the Roadrunners, edging out a 25-23 win in the first to extend the match to a third.
- The pair fought hard in the third before ultimately taking the 15-11 win to secure the 4-1 team victory and the Saturday sweep.
