LONG BEACH, Calif. — Following losses to Cal Poly and Long Beach State to begin the day, UC Davis beach volleyball ended a triple header on Saturday, Mar. 21 with a win over Sacramento State. This win marks the second of the season for the Aggies over the Hornets.

THE RALLY

• After dropping the first two matches of the day, UC Davis got on track against the Hornets with wins in the first, fourth, and fifth flights.
• Following a perfect weekend at the Mustang Roundup, Skye Smolinski and Kate O'Steen got the Aggies on the board first after being down 2-0.
• A win from Kimi Waller and Ella Erteltova tied things at two apiece heading into the final flight in court five.
• A straight set sweep by Emma Johnson and Alexandra Leal rounded things out as the Ags took home a 3-2 victory over their Causeway rivals for the second time this season.
