• Three Aggies earned singles victories, including a comeback win that clinched the match.
  The dual came down to the final singles courts, with both teams trading momentum throughout the afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Ikemori and Marakhtanova opened doubles play with a 6-4 victory at No. 1 to give UC Davis early momentum.

• Bringas and Youssef followed with a tiebreak win at No. 2 doubles to secure the doubles point for the Aggies.

• Ikemori extended the UC Davis lead with a dominant straight-set win at No. 1 singles, 7-6, 6-0.

• Vivian Gallaway added another point with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles.

• Youssef rallied from a first-set loss to defeat Carolyna Fowler, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2, clinching the dual for UC Davis.

• UC Irvine earned singles wins at courts 2, 5, and 6 to keep the match close until the final results were posted.
