HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Cal Poly opened the match by sweeping the doubles point, as the Mustangs earned wins at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles and clinched the point with a 7–6 (7–3) victory on court three.

• In singles play, Ikemori put UC Davis on the board with a comeback win at the No. 2 position, capturing a third-set super tiebreak to secure the Aggies' only point of the match.

• The Mustangs clinched the team victory with straight-set wins at Nos. 4 and 5 singles, building momentum in the middle of the lineup.

• Two matches went down to the wire, as Maya Youssef (No. 3) and Isabella Bringas (No. 6) each pushed their opponents to extended super tiebreaks, falling 14–12 and 13–11, respectively.

• At the top of the lineup, Polina Marakhtanova's match at No. 1 singles was cut short due to retirement, while the Aggies continued to compete across all courts as the dual concluded.
