2026 SEASON
- MOUNTAIN WEST STANDINGS: UC Davis is currently in seventh place halfway through its 10-match Mountain West regular-season schedule with a 2-3 conference record. The top six teams in the league's final regular-season standings qualify for the Mountain West postseason tournament to be played Nov. 11-14 at GCU Stadium in Phoenix. The winner of the event will receive the league's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament. UC Davis was selected to finish eighth in the Mountain West in the league's preseason poll in its inaugural campaign in the conference. Below is a full look at the MW standings along with each team's record in league contests through matches of Oct. 14 (Colorado College 4-0-1, Wyoming 3-1, Hawai'i 3-1, Air Force 3-2, New Mexico 3-2, UTEP 2-2, UC Davis 2-3, Grand Canyon 1-2-1, UNLV 1-3-1, San Jose State 1-4, Nevada 0-3-1).
- HOME SUCCESS: UC Davis has won two in a row and three of its last four home matches at Aggie Soccer Field. On the season, the Aggies are 3-2-1 in six home matches.
- HISTORIC MOUNTAIN WEST HOME SWEEP: UC Davis made school history Oct. 2 when the Aggies defeated Wyoming, 3-2, for the program's first-ever Mountain West win in any sport in the first home conference match as a member of the league in any sport. The Aggies followed that up five days later with a 3-0 Mountain West victory over Grand Canyon.
- JUST MISSED THREE IN A ROW: UC Davis fell at New Mexico, 2-1, in their most recent match last Sunday. The Aggies were looking for three straight victories for the first time since winning four in a row Sept. 5-15, 2024 (at Eastern Washington, at New Mexico State, Utah Valley State, LSU).
- OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION: UC Davis has scored nine goals over its last five matches with at least one in each match after scoring only four goals over its first nine matches. The last time the Aggies scored in more consecutive matches was when they found the back of the net in nine straight matches spanning the final six of 2024 and the first three of 2025.
- HERNDON HOT: M Kaya Herndon has led the Aggies' current offensive explosion by scoring all nine of her points over the last five matches, including seven in the back-to-back home wins over Wyoming and Grand Canyon. Herndon had a goal and an assist against Wyoming then picked up her first collegiate brace five days later against Grand Canyon. During the five-match run, Herndon also had a goal at Air Force while being scoreless at Colorado College and New Mexico. On the season, Herndon leads the Aggies with four goals, nine points and eight shots on goal.

- THREE DIFFERENT GOALKEEPERS HAVE SOLO SHUTOUTS: UC Davis is one of only two teams in the nation to have three different goalkeepers record solo shutouts with the other Chattanooga. Cat Pieper has two of the team's four solo shutouts in a 3-0 victory over Grand Canyon in UC Davis' most recent win Oct. 7 when she also had a career-high-tying seven saves and in a scoreless tie at LMU in her first action of the season on Sept. 10. After the LMU contest, Pieper did not play again in the next four matches until relieving Piper Wilkison when Wilkinson was injured in the second minute of the Oct. 2 win over Wyoming, marking the first time in 2026 that the UC Davis starting goalkeeper did not play the full match in net with Pieper playing the final 88:51 and picking up the victory. Wilkison's shutout came in a 1-0 home win over Pacific on Sept. 6 in her third start, while Dena Frenkel recorded her shutout in the season-opening win at Fresno State. On the season, Wilkison has started a team-high seven matches, while Frankel has started four including the first three but has played only once since and Pieper three including each of the last two. M Ashleigh Garcia became the 27th and most recent player to see action when she returned from injury to make her season debut Oct. 7 against Grand Canyon with five minutes off the bench.
- SAME LINEUP IN BACK-TO-BACK MATCHES ONLY THREE TIMES: UC Davis has started the same 11 players in back-to-back matches only three times this season against UC Santa Barbara and Pacific, at Air Force and Colorado College, and against Grand Canyon and at New Mexico. They have yet to have the same starting lineup in three consecutive matches.

Fehrenbacher was the first UC Davis player to earn a weekly award from the conference when she was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14 for her performance in a scoreless tie at LMU four days earlier. Fehrenbacher was one of five UC Davis players, along with goalkeeper Cat Pieper and fellow defenders Sydnie Fong, Ava Peterson and Courtney Wagner, to play all 90 minutes in the contest.
- FEHRENBACHER STREAK: D Kiley Fehrenbacher has started all 33 UC Davis matches played in 2025 (19) and 2026 (14) since transferring from Oregon prior to the 2025 campaign.
