HOW IT HAPPENED
· The Aggies opened the scoring with an early goal from junior Ella Franken in the ninth minute.
· In the 21st minute freshman Sutton Van Dyk was given a green card, giving Bellarmine a quick advantage.
· The Knights capitalized in the 28th minute of the second quarter, as sophomore forward Anouk Richters converted off a penalty corner to even the score.
· UC Davis quickly answered with a penalty corner of their own, where Franken secured her first career brace with assists from Munro-Morris and Ma.
· The Aggies generated two penalty corners and four shots in the third quarter but were unable to find the back of the cage.
· In the 57th minute, Bellarmine's Reilley Casey was given a green card, giving UC Davis a late advantage they could not convert into a goal.
· The Aggies tallied 11 more shots in the fourth quarter but couldn't break through Bellarmine's defense to extend their lead.
· The victory marks UC Davis' first win of the 2025 season.
