HOW IT HAPPENED
- After trailing 1-0, UC Davis took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on Jason Hanson's RBI single and a Tritons fielding error
- UCSD rallied for two runs in the bottom half to reclaim a 3-2 lead
- The Aggies responded with a four-run fifth, highlighted by Leehey's two-run blast to make it 6-3
- UCSD narrowed the gap to 6-5 before UC Davis extended the lead 7-5 in the seventh after an RBI single from Mark Wolbert
- The Tritons would add a run in the seventh in response to Wolbert's single, and Allen's game-tying homer in the eighth evened things up at 7-7
- In the ninth, Lee's two-run single to right field scored Wooldridge and Riley Acosta, bringing the score to 9-7 in favor of UC Davis
- UCSD loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom half, but the clutch Barnes entered and limited the damage to one run (via balk) before sealing the win
