The short story: The Aggies' season came to a close in the first round of bracket play of the Big West Championship, dropping Friday's early morning contest to Hawai'i 2-3. 

THE RALLY

• Lindsay Heller and Kate O'Steen had a great start for the Aggies, taking down their Rainbow Warrior opponents in just two sets. 

• The pair of Skye Smolinski and Mia Olen would be the first to fall, losing in two sets, making the score even at 1-1. 

• Senior pair Kylie Miller and Tabitha Mitchel would follow with their own two-set loss. 

• Kimi Waller and Alex Leal would fight through a tough third set and win to ultimately tie the score for a second time. 

• With the score tied at 2-2, it was up to the #2 pair of Emily Uhrinak and Kendal Steller. They took their match to three sets, but ultimately could not come out with a win for the Aggies.
