Teeing Off: Using a birdie on 18 to end her day, Vani Karimanal earned Big West Championship All-Tournament team honors with a third-place finish shooting +2 for the tournament while UC Davis women's golf posted its best finish at the conference championships since 2021.
 
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:

• The Aggies shot their best round of the tournament, collectively shooting one over par to move up two spots on the day to finish second overall
• Karimanal opened the day with birdies on two, three and five. She entered the final hole needing at least a birdie to move into the top five and she scored just that, birding the par five 18 to finish the day +1
• Yu Bai made big moves on the day, leaping eight spots thanks to a pair of birdies on one and eight for an even par day. Bai used that to finish seventh overall with a score of +5
• Abby Leighton had the biggest move in the standings, going 15 spots up to 11th thanks to an Aggie-best third round score of -1. Leighton birdied one, then had three-straight at five, six and seven before cashing in one more time at 17
• Skyler May's day saw her move up nine spots to 11th overall, shooting +1 on the day and +7 for the tournament
• Lauren Calderon shot +10 for the tournament, birding at 10 and 11 in the third round to shot +2 and her tournament score placed her 24th overall
